    Biography:

    Dr. Lamont Thompson is originally from Elkridge, Maryland.  He received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University where he majored in Health and Exercise Science.  In 2011, Lamont served as an UMES PT adjunct faculty member, teaching PT Procedures III - Musculoskeletal.  He   currently serves as a Home-Health Therapist in Eastern, Maryland; specializing in Geriatrics.

    Sam Singleton

    Biography:  

    Dr. Samuel "Sam" Singleton, originally from Windsor Mill, Maryland, has been serving as a "Traveling Physical Therapist" since December, 2011.  As a Traveling P.T., Sam evaluates, diagnose, and treat individuals of all ages with health-related conditions, illnesses, or injuries that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities.  Between traveling, he also serves as a clinical instructor and adjunct professor for the Global (Multicultural) Learning in PT at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO.

    Sam has been privileged to volunteer and serve in Ayacucho and Lima Peru, Carrefour Haiti, and along the Amazon River in Brazil.  According to Sam, "God has given me another great opportunity to serve in Carrefour Haiti with Southwest Baptist University from March 5-14, 2015, and with isleGomissions (www.islego.com) and Southwest Baptist University from March 21-28 along the Amazon River in Brazil.  Our teams and I will serve the poorest of the poor with spiritual and physical health care.  Our team will provide physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and equipment distribution to both adult and pediatric patients in need of our services.  During this time, we will have the opportunity to witness and share God's Word with our patients, their families, and local therapists".
