    • Qualified participants receive a stipend at the end of each academic semester (Fall and Spring semester)*
    • Present research at STEM conferences
    • Enhance your graduate school preparation and attend professional development workshops
    • Participate in community outreach activities
    • Access to LSAMP Study Center
      • All Scholars and affiliates will be given access to the LSAMP study center (Carver Hall, Room 2114).  The study center is a place for LSAMP scholars and affiliate students to study and/or relax between classes. Scholars and affiliates are encouraged to use this space to receive one-to-one tutoring, use a library of textbooks to help with classes, take advantage of GRE study materials, share experiences and be involved in the office.

In addition, students can see the bulletin board for details about scholarships, conferences, research and career opportunities, graduate school, upcoming events, and more.

Please contact our graduate assistant, Sherene Black:  ssblack@umes.edu.

*LSAMP Affiliates receive all the benefits of the program with the exception of the stipend.
