DNS Graduate Programs

  • Graduate students become leaders in their fields by pursuing new discoveries and innovations in laboratories of DNS faculty and field experiences throughout the region. 

    In many professions, the master's degree is now the minimum requirement for employment or advancement, and graduate training provides gateways to numerous careers in the sciences.

    Graduate students in the Master of Science (M.S.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), and Professional Science Masters (P.S.M.) programs are supported through departmental and research assistantships during their programs.

    Graduate students may be supported as Teaching Assistants and Research Assistants, which provide stipends and remission of tuition.

    The following programs focus on key strengths of the Faculty of the Department of Natural Sciences:

    Chemistry – M.S.

    Marine, Estuarine and Environmental Sciences – M.S., Ph.D.

    Toxicology – M.S., Ph.D.
