University of Maryland Eastern Shore Television Network is a channel that broadcast only on the UMES campus. The network was formed as a joint venture between the Office of Campus Life, the Campus Activities Board (CAB.) and No I.D. Productions. UMES 59 is the campus first official channel targeting the campus community with both informational and entertaining content. UMES 59 lineup features events recorded from guest speakers that visit our campus including but not limited to our first African-American first lady Michelle Obama, Rev. Al Sharpton, and Tichina Arnolds (Everybody Hates Chris & Martin). Music shows as well as special events and activities are also shown on the network. This is a student operated network and we encourage all undergraduates interested to take part. Most commonly referred to as UMES 59, the name is derived from the first letters of the campus current name and the channel in which it shows;
