For Spring 2018, we will offer online tutoring not only during our regular hours but also on the weekends!  Make an appointment through the regular schedule and remember to upload your assignment and your document as a Word attachment before the start of the appointment time.

The University Writing Center is dedicated to providing the University community one-on-one assistance with all types of writing at all stages of the writing process.  In addition to a hard copy of the document, please bring the assignment on which it is based.

NOTE:  The Writing Center tutors will help you and provide you with skills to do your own writing, revising, and editing, but they should not and will not write, revise, or edit for you.

The University Writing Center is staffed by a half-time Director, who has a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Linguistics and part-time peer tutors from all majors, who are selected based on their strong writing and interpersonal skills and trained to assist students with writing issues across the disciplines.

With our online scheduling program, My Writing Center Online, you can check availability and schedule appointments in advance at the following URL:

You can cancel or change appointments online up to 1 hours before the appointment time.  If you miss 2 scheduled appointments, you will be blocked from the online scheduling system and will have to contact Dr. Smith to discuss the issue.
