The program is administered by Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to support healthy and safe working and learning environments across campus operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The program applies to activities and environments where individuals may be exposed to chemical, physical, or biological hazards encountered in laboratories, maintenance activities, shops, and campus facilities. These hazards may include airborne contaminants, asbestos, lead, mold, excessive noise, heat stress, and inadequate ventilation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">EHS conducts exposure assessments and monitoring activities to evaluate potential health hazards and determine appropriate control measures.
