Mission: The UMES Undergraduate Writing Center (UWC) is dedicated to providing University undergraduates with assistance with all types of writing at all stages of the writing process. We believe that improving writing skills helps to transform the lives of our students both while in college and in the professional world beyond. <\/strong>

Online Hours from 9am-9pm, depending on tutor availability<\/strong>

We provide UMES undergraduates assistance with the following:
writing assignments across the disciplines;
any stage of the writing process:
pre-writing, drafting, revising, editing, proofreading; \u00a0
general writing skills:
grammar \/ punctuation \/ mechanics skills.
In addition to helping you with\u00a0class assignments, we would love to help you with your
r\u00e9sum\u00e9s, cover letters, and personal statements for employment and for graduate school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
