In the summer of 2024, he participated in the USDA NIFA Student Experiential Learning Program at Auburn University, where he researched the adaptations of <em>Orconectes immunis<\/em> to low pH levels in freshwater ecosystems under the mentorship of Dr. Gulnihal Ozbay and Grant Blank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the fall of 2024, Angel became an undergraduate fellow, continuing his research on <em>Orconectes immunis<\/em> at DSU.
