Conducting research under the mentorship of Dr. Indu Sharma, her research focuses on the degradation of marine polysaccharides, specifically laminarin and fucoidan, and their role in carbon cycling and long-term carbon sequestration in the ocean. This work supports NOAA\u2019s mission of advancing scientific understanding and promoting environmental stewardship.
