Whether you are exploring undergraduate or graduate studies, our department is committed to preparing students to become compassionate, skilled professionals who make meaningful contributions to the field of rehabilitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf93 Programs that Empower Your Future<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We offer three academic programs designed to address today\u2019s most pressing health, disability, and human service needs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>B.S. in Rehabilitation Services<\/strong><br>Two flexible tracks\u2014<strong>Allied Health<\/strong> and <strong>Behavioral Health<\/strong>\u2014allow students to tailor their education toward careers in physical therapy, occupational therapy, counseling, or case management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>B.S. in Rehabilitation Psychology<\/strong><br>Ideal for students pursuing graduate study in psychology or human services, and for those seeking entry-level positions supporting mental health and behavioral wellness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling<\/strong><br>Our 60-credit hour, <strong>CACREP-accredited<\/strong> master\u2019s program prepares students for certification and licensure as rehabilitation counselors. Graduates are equipped to work in diverse settings, including state agencies, healthcare systems, schools, nonprofits, and private practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcc8 A Field of Growing Opportunity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. Department of Labor projects continued growth in health and rehabilitation-related careers well into the next decade. Graduates of our programs are highly sought after for their training, adaptability, and cultural competence. You\u2019ll be joining a field that is both <strong>professionally rewarding and socially impactful<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our alumni work with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Department of Veterans Affairs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State vocational rehabilitation programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mental health and substance abuse treatment centers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community-based organizations like Humanim and Hudson Health Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc50 Additional Opportunities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are proud to offer courses in <strong>American Sign Language (ASL)<\/strong>, which introduce students to Deaf culture and prepare them for careers that support communication access and inclusion.
