Alexis Griffin graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from University of Oregon in June 2018. Their design practice focused on community engagement and the creation of native plant communities. They began studying for their M.S. degree at Oregon State University in September 2023 in the Department of Integrative Biology with Dr. David Lytle and Dr. Francis Chan, and later transferred into the Ph.D. program. Their dissertation involves salmon restoration and social equity.
