Moses Nwakwuo began studying for his master’s degree in the fall semester of 2026 at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES).
He graduate UMES with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science on May 15, 2026, having joined the LMRCSC in March 2023, with hopes of becoming a data analyst for NOAA. He participated in the Geosciences Bridge Program at UMES under the supervision of Dr. Paulinus Chigbu in the summer of 2022. During the program, Moses assisted in surveying and documenting the reproduction patterns of grass shrimp and other micro-crustaceans in the Chesapeake Bay. Moses became a UMES student in August 2022, in the Computer Science Program, studying GIS systems and data sciences.
