Myah Bowie became an LMRCSC master’s fellow in the fall semester of 2026, joining the Marine, Estuarine and Environmental Science (MEES) program at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES).
Myah graduated from UMES with a B.S. in Environmental Science in December 2025, as an LMRCSC undergraduate fellow. She participated in the Geosciences Bridge Program in the summer of 2022. Her research focused on Zooplankton Composition and Relative Abundance in the Maryland Coastal Bays. After completing the program, she enrolled at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore to pursue a degree in Environmental Science. In Fall 2023, Myah became an LMRCSC Undergraduate Fellow and was engaged in research on the mortality of horseshoe crabs.
