
Join us for a field day and training workshop offered by University of Maryland Eastern Shore Extension to learn how effective marketing of fresh fruits and vegetables can increase profits.
The Marketing of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Field Day will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, from 8-11 a.m. at North of Eden Farm, our demonstration site.
The event will feature a site tour in Eden, Md., to demonstrate chestnut-based alley cropping for extreme weather variability and high profitability. Additionally, an indoor session will feature discussions among producers, peers, educators and specialists on marketing fresh fruits and vegetables.
North of Eden Farm is located at 3700 Stockyard Road in Eden.
Admission is free, but pre-registration is required.
